Every day, people ask how they can make the world better. The answer is always the same regardless of the environment: start improving yourself! How? By making good choices.

If we want the world to improve, we must become better people, which is done by being intentional about our choices.

The Dare to Define YOU! youth leadership platform is based on this core truth. It guides students to consciously take ownership of their choices by equipping them to develop awareness and skills within fundamental values they face daily.

The key lessons empower students to take action and dare to advance toward their potential, dreams, and enhanced character choices that enrich who they already are.

Our teachings equip students and staff to know, own, and live in their unique brilliance!

Be a Daily Day-Maker

Good works come in many forms. Greatness lies not in being strong but in the right use of strength. He or she is the greatest whose strength carries up the most hearts.  – Henry Ward Beecher

Everywhere we look, people need encouragement, hope, smiles, compassion, and much more.

Each new day, we are given a chance to make a difference. Commit to using your strength to carry up the hearts of those around you intentionally.

Use your words to build and encourage; your hands to help; your attitude to infuse hope, courage, and belief; your faith to inspire confidence; your smile to spread genuine goodness, warmth, and joy.

Be a daily Day-Maker by simply choosing to make someone else’s day.

Choose to “go first”

Choose to act on “the nudge”

Take the initiative and become a “ripple starter” of good things …

One simple act can change the tone of someone’s day, week, or even life. (And it will also bring abounding joy and fulfillment to your life!)

One way to become a daily day-maker is to live boldly, love big, and pass it on, like our friends at the Red Glasses Movement. Since being introduced to their movement, we’ve been advancing their cause of living boldly and spreading kindness. This has been done by sharing Audrey’s red glasses within our school partnerships; whether the glasses are worn, hung in a locker, or sit on a shelf, we hope they inspire people to live with a fearless spirit and also serve as a reminder to reach out to friend or stranger, to make their day a little brighter.

We invite you to watch their video and hope that when you do, you enjoy their story as much as we have and feel moved to share it with others. Allow the heartbeat of this movement to chase you down and inspire you to intentionally use your strength - every day - to carry up the most hearts!

Live Boldly. Love Big. Pass it On!
